As we wrap up April, there is so much to report! The Whole Maple™ production season saw the last batch (21-J) go into settling jars on April 21st--the day before Earth Day. It has all the intense flavors and feels we expect for the finale, and we are excited to offer it to you on August 1st when we launch all of the 2025 Terroir Series batches. Next up, decanting, flavor profiling and bottling!
The new season is bringing new labels for the syrup! Our artist, Skylar Pitts, is a New York educated graphic designer now in Southern California, and is a long-time fan of our artisanal, gourmet treats. You may have noticed her beautiful work on our asparagus, shrubs, honey and fruit pastes. They take their inspiration from our Tapatree project of weaving people and terroir, and we think you'll love them! (If you enjoyed our original labels, the new ones should retain all of their charm.)

If you've been shopping the website, you may be disappointed to see that our Whole Maple™ reserves are LOW! While we still have some Pocket Tasters in the 2024 Terroir Series, we are replenishing the Whole Maple™ House Blends today (French praline; sweet hazelnut wrapped in rich caramel, dried apple finish), and Whole Maple™ for Coffee in the coming days. We know you're in need. While you wait, we encourage you to enjoy the amazing honeys! Check out the unique flavor profiles--entirely created by our bees utilizing the healthy flowers of the forests and fields on the farm.
Did you remember that Mother's Day is right around the bend? Whether you're planning to fête a special mom, raise a glass to the memory of a mom, or are just grateful to be a mom, our amazing shrubs are the perfect elixir for your toast. Created with New York fruits, our Whole Maple™ Syrup, and carefully selected vinegars, each shrub is a true celebration of good taste! Remember, we ship!
As the asparagus beds start to rumble, the bees wake up and begin to forage, and as the syrup makes its way to the shelves, take solace in the gentle rhythm of Mother Nature. Be kind, be hopeful, be resolute...we're cheering for all the good that inhabits our world.
Til next time, Farm Fam!
